    very nice tutorial!!! Do you provide also the various "lighting" components that you use in different videos to light-up the scenes? If it may help to know, I have to say that the title of the video is very misleading, as the "cove lighting" in architecture is the one lighting linearly from a recess, usually in the ceiling :')

      The whole title is "cinematic cove lighting" which means something different than architectural cove lighting. Check this out for more info: ua-cam.com/video/ZmFsSSUSxSc/v-deo.html

    Very helpful! I'm a retired architect with a small solo practice using SketchUp and Enscape, but I'm getting on board with Krea, too - very interesting. Workflow and, honestly, return on time invested in an image is critical for me, so figuring in time polishing an image with Krea and Photoshop (which I am very new to) is a challenge, so far. Workflow, workflow, workflow (can you tell I'm an old-fashioned American" 😀

      @@Modulusrender If the cutout percentage in the foliage material is higher than 52%, no light comes in at all. It becomes a completely opaque object. Thanks for the tips! Normally we wont scale 10 times all the model just for the carpet ! It dosent make sense... instead ENSCAPE should make the carpet matarial highet start from 0.0 !!! When use KREA for finalize the carpet we can do the same with a non scaled carpet (with a bump map) result with KREA will probably still be good right (?)

    • @Modulusrender
      @Modulusrender 2 місяці тому

      It will probably look ok. I just scaled to have finer and smaller strands in the carpet. And of course Enscape should have better controls on this material.

    Image looking amazing, but cmon Enscape wasn’t made to produce this kind of results. Enscape is made to be used to generate fast and simple results. For photorealism there’s a ton of better tools to work with. For exemple, with max and corona you get better results with just a couple of clicks. That’s because it’s made to generate photorealistic images. In Enscape you have to go above and beyond every thing and spend a ton of time in order to get the same result. One again, congratulations for the beautiful image, it looks amazing because you know how to get amazing images in whichever render engine you choose, but I’m 1000% sure that if you use better tools you can do it faster and more objectively.

    • @Modulusrender
      @Modulusrender 4 місяці тому

      I agree partly. I come from a background of 3dsmax and vray or corona and I understand where you are coming from. Enscape, Evee, Unreal engine and any other real time renderer are different because these engines take shortcuts and don't calculate precisely the global illumination. But it's a lot of fun to push them beyond their intended design and it works faster once you get the hang of it. I think you can achieve great results, no matter the software. You just need to like it and for it to fit your workflow.
